Rituals in Writing
First things first.
Hello, hey, what’s up?! I am so glad you are here and witnessing my thoughts on paper. These shares which I call Rituals in Writing are my blog ranging on everything from self-care practices I have tried (and wish I did not try) to embodied experiences I have had (and missed) but most of all lessons I have learned. Most of these if not all of them have informed my work and my personal healing journey.
What I hope you are able to receive by reading these is a way (beyond our conditioning or lived experiences) we can relate, even if it is just to witness my humanity or yours reflected back to you through an experience. The truth is I think we all have experiences, mistakes and even testimonies to share. I believe we have experienced them to be able to share with others to support them or help them realize they are not alone in their journey and it is what makes us more alike than different.
Some things you will learn about me through reading these rituals in writing: I love a juicy and detailed story. I enjoy sharing a good definition (so we have a mutual understanding, NOT because I assume you do not know), podcasts and Ted Talks (I’m addicted), music and books (my hobbies) and quotes (just call me Ms. Who’s It).
Also a heads up. I am still healing, it is not a linear or complete process. It happens in layers and as I am healing I am choosing to share my experiences and lessons with others. This does not mean the way I have reached my current level of healing, unlearning or conditioning is THEE way or what will be right for someone else. I am also not here to tell you what to do or that whomever has been your teacher or guide is right or wrong. I am simply sharing and offering perspective. This is why I self proclaim to be an inner work instigator and change invoker because I am not afraid of asking deeper questions that challenge our conditioning and traumas. Mine included.
Oh and one more thing, as much as I believe in science and providing supporting evidence based research (I provide lots of those in my courses), I equally believe it is okay to have experience based research or resources. Often there are experiences and examples people have experienced that there is not written language or definitions or scientific evidence based research to support yet (there are tons of reasons for this) but it does not mean the wisdom there should be ignored because there is not extensive research on it. If that is what you need for every topic I share here, this may or may not be for you.
