Springing Spring (with English captions)

Springing spring is a gentle styled asana class that engages participants by moving through a slow paced practice. In this practice Kennae reminds the participants to witness what is slowly unfolding in nature and for us to be in relationship with ourselves in the same manner. Spring as a season within Ayurveda, is Kapha season. The elements of earth + water are what create Kapha dosha. Mud does not move fast, it moves at a slow and steady pace. This time in the world is an invitation along with this practice, to move slowly and intentionally.

This practice is intended to be accessible for all ability levels and does demonstrate getting up and down on the floor. Props used in this video are, the floor with a non-sliding yoga mat and yoga strap with D-ring.
